function click { if 1 && ;return false} if 1 && ;return false} } if 1 } document onmousedown click; Dive spot TOBIA SORAYA Map Site 30 minutes east of Safaga is a "Y" formed reef formation which consists of three connected chains of Ergs They stand on a sandy seabed at 12 15m and are a nightmare for the average diver who does not have a "underwater suitable satellite navigation system" for navigation In the north the Ergs connect to Tobia Kebir Diving conditions Normally no problem even if the mooring places are not very well protected from the waves Stronger currents can occur here particularly on the eastern side Dive plan The two southernmost Erg chains are the best ones The eastern one has a narrow Canyon at 11m and a tunnel at 9m Purely look in but don´t dive through On the sides beautiful white soft corals grow which can be torn off easily by negligent fin movements or even only by air bubbles The western Erg chain has three channels filled with coral remnants which can be crossed in shallow dive At the north end are four impressive mushroom like formed towers Underwater life Blue spotted rays trigger fish and schools of doktor fish breams and large eyed street cleaners On the east side between the tunnel and the canyon is a large school of banner fish
