function click { if 1 && ;return false} if 1 && ;return false} } if 1 } document onmousedown click; Dive spot SHAAB ISHTA Map Site Shaab Ishta is 45 minutes to l hour away from Hurghada It consists simply only of two Ergs a smaller one in the north a larger one in the south and it looks a little like a clover leaf Ishta means in Arabic "cream" but one uses this word rather like the german "Great" or "brilliant" The depth ranges from 9 to 12m and it is surrounded by sea grass fields Diving conditions The sea is very often calm and currents weak except in the channel between the Ergs Dive plan It is a small diving spot and it is possible to circle it at different depths in a figure eight Look around in the sea grass fields You will see a number of fish which you do not know Underwater life In the sea grass look out for groups of lion fish stingrays turtles seahorses and ghost pipe fish Located in the channel between the Ergs are sweet lips seabarbels and snappers in the current and on the boulder slope you can find stone fish dragonsheads and flatheads There is a small cave here in which a turtle looks for refuge at night A large malabar grouper patrols every now and again in this area
