function click { if 1 && ;return false} if 1 && ;return false} } if 1 } document onmousedown click; Dive spot RAS DISHA Map Site About 90 minutes south of Hurghada on the coast a wide bay with an island in the middle can be found In the north it is limited by a promontory known as Ras Disha It consists of a sandy plateau and behind the beacon towards the north a steep drop off Three Ergs lie south the reef They are possibly the best place for diving Diving conditions The dive spot is well protected from the swell and by currents which predominantly come from the north Dive plan Forget the main reef It is to a large extent dead The best route is round around the Ergs They rise from the sandy seabed at 10 12m The northernmost has a large grotto with many glass fish therein Underwater life At the Ergs are the usual hunters of glass fish mackerels lionfish and red mouthed groupers This place also has very many soil inhabitants flatheads sea tongues stone fish filament devil fish blue spotted rays and sand fleas At the northern steep wall according to rumours a grey reef shark has his stomping ground and between the Ergs are schools of young barracudas
