function click { if 1 && ;return false} if 1 && ;return false} } if 1 } document onmousedown click; Dive spot ABU RAMADA GOTA Map Site This reef also known as the "Aquarium" lies approx 50 and 90 minutes away from Hurghada depending upon where you leave from It is an ellipse formed reef surrounded by a sandy soil at 12 15m In the west two large ergs can be found and in the east three small towers and a coral garden Dive conditions The sea is normally calm but in the worst case you may experience a small swell at the east west corner of the reef The current divides itself on the north side and is really only noticeable like the sea on both sides of the reef Dive plan a The east side is ideal for photography The area is teeming with sea barbels around the holes and grottos which characterizes this part of the reef Approx 15 20m south westerly are the three small towers with an incredible amount of fish b The two large ergs in the west can be found approx 20m from the reef Typical here are soft corals sea fan corals and a vast number of reef fish Underwater life All over the reef but especially in the west sea barbels can be found Both small and large schools of banner fish masked butterfly fish yellow snapper and sweetlips can be found here Here is the home for many large morays mackerel and flatheads and turtles eagle rays and leopard sharks are frequent visitors here In September large trigger fish guard their nests So beware
